interior palette toeshoeのピアニスト「miyo」による2016年から始まったソロプロジェクト。meimei(メイメイ)は、その名の通り命名するという意味が込められていて、曲には全て架空の人物の名前が付いており、その人物の儚い物語をピアノで表現した、ノスタルジーなポストクラシカルサウンド。

Miyo, the Japanese pianist from Toyama prefecture, released her first solo EP called “Meimei” The classically trained musician also plays in the band, Interior Palette Toeshoes. Differing from the intensity of the post-rock band, her recent solo project, combines nostalgia, romanticism with a beautiful powerful post-classical piano. It is easy to be gently immersed and lost in the delicate dreamy tones of her music.
